TLC300
Remote control RTU for MV distribution centers
Integrates the functions needed to remotely control a medium-voltage substation.
Every switching operation that requires sending someone out to an MV cell is lost time and avoidable risk. The TLC300 concentrates control of up to 16 cells in a single unit, with its own safety logic in each one, so opening and closing can be executed from the control center — or locally if needed — without depending on a technician on site.
-
1 to 16 cells, without changing equipment
Scales from a simple substation to a complex distribution center, expanding over Ethernet, RS232 or RS485.
-
Keeps operating without communication
Each cell keeps its own local safety logic, programmable to IEC 61131-3; if the link fails, the unit keeps controlling and syncs once it's restored.
-
Everything in one unit
Control, measurement, communication and protection concentrated in one unit, with fewer failure points than a distributed architecture.
-
Integrates with legacy or modern SCADA
DNP3.0, MODBUS TCP/RTU and IEC 60870-5-104, as a multi-protocol gateway with no need to replace existing infrastructure.

02Main applications
Main applications
- Remote control of MV distribution centers from a remote operations center
- Urban underground networks with scattered, hard-to-reach substations
- Reconnection and reconfiguration switching during network contingencies
- Automating open/close sequences with interlocks
- Migrating legacy substations to modern SCADA as a multi-protocol gateway
- Monitoring short-circuit passage and current per cell
